Raven Roofing Supplies are now stocking a fast, clean and waste free solution to bedding insulation boards to flat roofs.
Made by Henkel, TK395 is a foam adhesive that can be used to fix tissue faced insulation boards to timber, concrete, and metal decks for new build applications. It is also designed for use over old existing three layer or asphalt roofs without the need to strip the roof.
The system means no mechanical fixing, no hot bitumen and no mess!!

Since 1989 Headway Swindon & District has been supporting adults with traumatic and acquired brain injury, their families and carers.
Through Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy and social rehabilitation, we help our clients regain skills lost or impaired or learn new skills and coping strategies.

Raven Roofing Supplies’ eighth Annual Golf Day was held at Sandmartins Golf Club in Wokingham on 3rd September.
Despite one brief shower and some strong winds, the 50 participants were generally able to enjoy the day and the well maintained course.
The individual and outright winner this year was Paul Cloet and the popular “beat the pro” competition on the 17th raised a healthy sum for Raven Roofing Supplies charity of the year, The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice in Hampton, Middlesex

Discovering your child has a life-limiting condition must be one of the most devastating experiences a family can encounter. The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice provides support and care to young people and their families, enhancing quality of life through, respite care, hospice at home, and end of life care, offered free of charge, 365 days a year.
With no long term statutory funding, we rely on voluntary donations to fund the £3 million needed each and every year to sustain our care service provision. Therefore the support of The Bingham Hotel is truly appreciated and together we can make a real and lasting difference

Raven Roofing Supplies held its seventh annual golf day at Sandmartins Golf Club in Wokingham on 4th September.
This year saw a record entry of 54 participants and the outright individual honours went to Eddie Peake (Rover) who finally managed to win through having come close in the last few years. Nearest the pin was won by Archie Douglas and longest drive Gavin Minnis. The team winners were Sean Wootten, Gavin Minnis and Andrew Ray (on his birthday!).
The weather stayed fine for the afternoon and a competitive “beat the pro” 17th hole helped to raise funds for the Raven Roofing Supplies nominated charity of 2008 – St Michael’s Hospice in Basingstoke.
Raven Roofing Supplies acknowledge the generosity of suppliers who helped to support the event including Klober, John Brash, Cupa Natural Slates, European Company of Natural Slate, Ashbury Clay Tiles and Terreal.

An Adventure race is a form of off road triathalon, including 40km of mountain biking, an 20km trail run and 8km kyaking. The objective is to reach check points and in so doing gain points within a certain time period.

24th June 2008Raven Roofing Supplies are now stocking and supplying four new colour Redland Rosemary Clay Tiles.
The Rosemary Craftsman range has two new additions - the Penhurst and the Ashcombe. This range of handcrafted tiles combines warm, rustic colours with natural textures and a variable surface and shape to create a tile of traditional hand made appearance.
The additions to the Rosemary Classic range are the Dark Antique and the Copper Brindle tiles. The Dark Antique tile has a sooty appearance with a dark, pitted finish revealing a hint of red underneath. The Copper Brindle tile has an orange-red body with a variegated black sanded finish.

Raven Roofing Supplies has expanded its range of natural slates and now stocks Cupa Pizzaras Spanish slates in addition to its existing brands.
One in four slates used in roofing around the world is manufactured by Cupa Pizzaras. On a recent visit to the quarries in North West Spain representatives from Raven Roofing Supplies identified the quarries and slates that they wished to distribute. The initial consignments have now arrived from Spain and the slates are ready for supply.

Raven Roofing Supplies annual golf day for customers and suppliers was held at Sandmartins Golf Club, Wokingham on Wednesday 5th September.
The course was superbly prepared and the weather was (unusually for this year!) dry and very warm. With 50 entrants, it was a close competition with the overall individual honours going to Richard Smith of Southern Brick and Tile.
Longest drive was awarded to Sean Wootten of Cupa Slates and nearest the pin went to Wayne Mills of Ecotherm Insulation.
Each competitor had been videoed on the first tee and the day finished with an individual swing analysis from club professional and Golf International Magazine teaching panellist, Andrew Hall, followed by dinner.

Staff and customers of Raven Roofing Supplies enjoyed a recent tour of the Terreal manufacturing plant in Bavent, Normandy.
The two day trip included a tour of the ultra-modern factory where a full range of clay tiles for the UK and worldwide markets is produced.
The following day allowed enough time before the return ferry journey for those on the trip to enjoy a round of golf at the outstanding Omaha Beach Golf Club.

Raven Roofing Supplies has been selected by Nu-Lok Roofing Systems to distribute its range of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels to the south of England. Raven Roofing Supplies will be the sole distributor for this region.
Designed in Australia and used in hugely diverse climates worldwide, the secret of a Nu-lok roof lies in replacing traditional wooden battens with a lightweight galvanised steel grid system.
The patented system incorporates specially designed link channels containing a high grade 316 steel clip for securing the leading tile edge, locked in place between galvanised steel battens.
This link channel eliminates the need for double-lapping of slates, as water passing through the gaps between slates is automatically routed onto the surface of the slate below.
As a result, the Nu-lok system requires fewer slates and less labour than traditional roofing methods, to deliver a surprisingly affordable roofing option. At 27 kg per square metre, this unique design is not only incredibly lightweight, but can support installers’ weight with ease.
